Introduction
By accessing our website or booking any services offered by Foundation Football Training (hereafter referred to as “FFT”), you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms outline the rules and conditions for using our services and website. Please read them carefully before booking.
Booking and Payment
To attend a session, bookings must be made in advance through our website. You can select the type of training, time, and location that suits you.
To confirm your booking, full payment is required no later than 48 hours before the scheduled session. This ensures your place is secured and allows our coaches to prepare appropriately.
If payment is not received within this timeframe, FFT reserves the right to cancel your booking and offer the time slot to another client. Sessions will not proceed without confirmed payment unless otherwise arranged in writing.
To avoid any disruption, we strongly recommend making payment at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that plans can change. To keep things fair and efficient for everyone, we have a clear cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before a session are eligible for a full refund or free reschedule.
- Cancellations made between 24 to 48 hours before a session are only eligible for a free reschedule.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session are considered forfeited. No refund or reschedule will be provided, except in cases of documented medical emergencies or exceptional circumstances, which are assessed at the discretion of FFT.
- "No-shows" (failure to attend a session without prior notice) are treated as cancellations within 24 hours and are non-refundable.
- If we cancel a session (due to weather or other circumstances), we will offer you a full refund or reschedule at no extra cost.
Code of Conduct
We're committed to creating a positive and respectful environment. By participating in our sessions, all players, parents, and guardians agree to:
- Treat coaches, staff, and other players with respect
- Avoid any disruptive, offensive, or unsafe behaviour
- Follow instructions from coaching staff during sessions
Failure to comply may result in removal from the session without a refund.
Safety and Supervision
Player safety is a top priority. All sessions are run by qualified coaches in safe, structured environments. Parents and guardians are welcome to watch, as long as it does not interfere with the session. Participants must:
- Wear appropriate training gear (boots, clothing, etc.)
- Bring water and any necessary personal equipment
- Inform us of any injuries, allergies, or medical conditions in advance
Media Consent
By enrolling in and submitting payment for any session, you grant FFT permission to capture and use photographs and video footage of participating players for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes. This includes (but is not limited to) use on our website, social media channels, print materials, and other digital platforms.
FFT is committed to using all media content respectfully and in a way that celebrates our players' development and love of the game.
If you do not wish for your child to appear in any media, you must notify us in writing prior to your scheduled session by contacting our admin team at support@foundation.football.
Please note that opt-out requests received after media has been captured may not be able to be fully removed from all promotional content
Changes to Services
We may occasionally adjust or cancel sessions due to weather, venue changes, or operational needs. If this happens:
- We'll contact you as soon as possible
- You'll be offered a refund or the option to reschedule
We reserve the right to update our session formats or availability at any time.
Limitation of Liability
By participating in training, you acknowledge that physical activity carries some risk. While we do everything we can to ensure a safe experience, FFT is not liable for:
- Personal injury or accidents that may occur during training
- Lost or stolen items
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of our services
Participation is at your own risk, and we recommend appropriate insurance where relevant.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Melbourne, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved under Australian legal jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website with the date of the most recent change.
